Our Mission & Values
The American Legion is the largest U.S. veterans organization with more than 1.6 million members who strengthen the nation through programs, services and advocacy for those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, youth and communities. At American Legion Post 30, we strive to meet the American Legion Mission at the local level. We have been serving Lorain since 1919!

Our Community Impact
We are dedicated to serving our local community through mission-driven initiatives that foster patriotism and support veterans.
Youth Programs
At Post 30, we have taken the American Legion Youth pillar to the next level! Not only do we strive to ensure all kids have a fair chance and have opportunities to achieve their goals, but we also have robust programming to help develop these youths into future civic leaders!
Community Support
Not only do we support our community through volunteerism around town, we also provide financial support to many fellow non-profits! Since 2020, American Legion Post 30 has given out over $700,000 to support local non-profit causes!
Social Club for Veterans & their families
We have been at the same location in Lorain, OH since 1939. This location has been a safe space for thousands of Veterans to enjoy with their families for nearly 100 years! Cheap drinks, delicious food, a robust paper & electronic bingo program and lots of great events to keep you entertained!
